Hello, sorry for all the comments I didn’t reply to. Ever since I graduated from engineering school I had very little time for game dev and as such didn’t take much time to read what was here. I’m sorry if you encountered any issues.
I’m going to be honest, I probably won’t have much time to fix any bugs you encounter, but feel free to comment anyway and if I have some time I’ll see what I can do :) That might change in the future but do not take my word for it.
For those who are confused on how to launch the game, you need to have Java installed on your computer, after which you can usually just double click the game file (or use java -jar aatinkerer-1.0.jar if you want to run it from the terminal, but people who want to do that probably already knew how to do it).
The game very quickly broke upon reaching the final level of the game, miners stopped mining, mergers stopped merging, and assemblers (or whatever you named them) stopped assembling.
Hi, I built a new version that uses a new backend, can you give it a try see if it fixes your problem? You can find it on the game page under downloads as aatinkerer-1.0-lwjgl3-alpha.jar.

i keep getting a crash report when i try to run it through the itch app on mac.do you know how to troubleshoot this issue
how do i use a .jar file?
I love the game, but I think the splitter should be unlocked earlier than the very end of the game.

If I get back to working on the game I’ll put this on the TODO list, I agree that would make the early game a lot more organized.
My Java version is 17.0.1 and I am running Linux Mint 64 bits
